What is a QR Code?
A QR code (Quick Response code) is a type of two-dimensional matrix barcode that stores data as a series of black and white squares. They can store a wide variety of data including URLs, text, email addresses, phone numbers, and vCard contacts, and can be instantly scanned by virtually any modern smartphone camera.
What is Error Correction (ECC)?
QR codes have a built-in error correction capability, allowing them to be scanned correctly even if they are partially damaged or obscured. There are four error correction levels (L, M, Q, H), each allowing a different amount of the code to be damaged while still remaining readable. Use level Q or H if you plan to overlay a logo on top of the QR code.
